NCC Exam Opportunities, Details, and Preparation Suggestions

UPDATE 2/13/2021

We at RNNCEs are proud to announce a unique opportunity for our students who are planning to take an NCC Certification Exam. As some of you know, the NCC is now computer only testing (no paper pencil exam is given any longer).  While NCC and RNNCEs continue to be separate entities, we are happy to announce that for our students, there will be a “SECOND CHANCE FREE” opportunity!  For those who take an RNNCEs course (in person, live virtual seminar, or a webinar series),  upon completion and with your certificate of attendance, you will receive a voucher to use for the NCC website.

DO NOT REGISTER WITH THE NCC UNTIL AFTER YOU COMPLETE YOUR COURSE AND RECEIVE THIS CODE & CERTIFICATE!
Once you receive this code and certificate, you may then register with the NCC for your exam, and you can also rest easier knowing that you can take the test again FOR FREE, if you do not pass.  For those looking to review, and are nervous about taking an exam, this is an opportunity for you!

If you utilize a RNNCEs seminar for test preparation, and fail the exam on first try, you will not pay an additional fee to NCC to test again.
RNNCEs will provide individual consultation complimentary following a failure.
If individual tutoring is chosen after the consultation, there will be an hourly fee charged.

Register for the RNNCEs class event now, but wait on the NCC registration.
This is different than the past, you will utilize a code and your certificate of attendance.
If you register with NCC to test prior to our instructions you will not be eligible for the special option.

RNNCEs is following CDC guidelines in the limited live seminars on the schedule, with the safety of all a priority in our minds and actions.
We are scheduling some of the review seminars
as Live Virtual events (these will not be recorded).
There will be live access to the instructor for questions during the event, and email access following the event.

There are also recorded webinar series for preparation that allow you to view in sections and around your personal time needs.
There is email access for questions and support.

Many students have now completed these two “stay at home safely” options during these difficult times.
NCC testing success has been nearly universal!

Preparation Suggestions for Exam Candidates

It is PEC’s suggestion that all candidates download and review the Candidates Guide specific to the test they are taking from the NCC website. Specifically pay attention to the breakdown of the test question categories. Also review the topics covered and perform a self-assessment of your strengths and weaknesses. If you identify weaknesses consider studying before you attend a Seminar. We have excellent resources within the Home Study Units for this purpose.
We are happy to answer all of your questions or take your registration over the phone by calling our toll free line at (800)732-2387.
Our office is open, phones answered, from 9am to 3:30 pm PST, M-F.
